Surina is driven by the joy and beauty in everyday life and encounters. It is these experiences, which inspire her to perform. Whether it is on stage, film or live, Surina is able to express her vitality for life, which drives her to new challenges.

After several film roles which included: The Line a pilot film for PTV, Winter of Love, which premiered at the Raindance Film Festival, Tongues on Fire and Talking About Suicide, a video drama illustrating young Asian women and suicide in Britain.

Surina went on to produce, host and model in the charity fashion show 'YOU ARE NOT ALONE' to raise awareness about domestic violence. After which she presented the live The Movie Game Show on MATV.

Most recently Surina starred in a charity theatre production; Doctor Doctor as a Bollywood dancer. The play was a comedy about a Doctor’s dream to become a Bollywood star. Her current project is a Tamil feature film Orr Ithayaththilae telling the story of the forbidden love, set in a Tamil community in London.

Through her experiences and roles, Surina has realised that her interests in the areas of charity work, acting, presenting, dancing and modelling have truly flourished. Her work has given her the opportunity to give back to her community, a community which has been an inspiration to her. Surina hopes her determination will empower and inspire others to fulfil their own aspirations and dreams.
